Zach Nicholson
Individual Therapist In McKinney TX
I want to see everyone as unique individuals with their own stories and strengths. I consider myself a structured clinician, and I tailor my approach to fit each person’s specific needs. I believe that growth often comes with a bit of discomfort, so I’m here to challenge my clients to push themselves when it’s necessary. I’m really passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ teens and helping them deal with life’s stressors, but I also have experience with young adults stepping into their 20s. I’ll always create a nonjudgmental and safe space for my clients to grow into thriving young adults.
I’m a licensed professional counselor with 5 years of experience working with adolescents facing depression and anxiety. I got my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of North Texas, and I earned my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas Woman’s University.
In my downtime, I love to draw, binge-watch Netflix, and play Dungeons & Dragons and other games. I also enjoy hanging out with my cat and diving into a good book.
