Couples Counseling, also known as marriage therapy focuses on building strong foundations of communication and how couples best work together as a healthy team. Our couples counseling comes from two principals: Gottman and Imago.
During counseling couples are guided to recognize points of stress and dissatisfaction within the relationship and a deep understanding of each individual’s perspective.
Expert counselors help the couple design a plan to develop skills of communication that can address conflicts in respectful, kind, and productive ways.
The objective is to develop better levels of functionality, a deep understanding of each individual, and how to best work together as a couple.
