Education Specialist

I have experience with children of all ages. I babysat for several families growing up and worked in child care centers while in college. Once I began my educational career, I taught grades PreK – 4^th grades. I have experience teaching self-contained classrooms, as well as departmentalized classrooms. I was a teacher in a classroom setting for 16 years. Then, I began my educational leadership portion of my career. I have been Assistant Principal for grades 6-12 and Principal for grades PreK -6. Currently, I am Principal for grades PreK – 6. I am completing my 30^th year in education.

In all my educational experience, I have worked with regular education students and special education students. I have been special education coordinator/teacher for four of my latter years. This opportunity has led me to have experience leading ARD (Admission, Review and Dismissal) meetings, writing IEP (Individual Education Plan) goals and objectives, helping to develop BIP’s (Behavior Intervention Plan), etc.

I am excited to help with any educational needs you may have. Also, I will be more than happy to answer or help find answers to any question(s) you may have. In addition, I offer a free consultation to parents before a commitment of service.
