Dr. Chandrasekaran was born and raised in India, where she completed her medical school. She completed her residency in Adult Psychiatry and her fellowship in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Kentucky, Lexington in 2015.
Dr. Chandrasekaran previously worked at Legacy Community Health Services in Houston wherein she provided comprehensive mental health services to patients from Beaumont and surrounding areas. She has been practicing in Dallas for the past year. In addition, she played an instrumental role in providing Tele-medicine services to patients in remote Texas communities.
Trained in treating trauma in children and adults, Dr. Chandrasekaran specializes in Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADD/ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder, Disruptive/Impulse control and conduct Disorders, Sleep Disorder, Substance Use Disorders, Mental Disorders due to primary medical illnesses, Delusional Disorders, Disorders of Adult personality and behavior. In addition, she is an expert in Mood and Anxiety Disorders, Tic Disorder and Eating Disorders.
Dr. Chandrasekaran is multi-lingual (English, Tamil, Telugu & Kannada) and is passionate about her work.

Dr. Chandrasekaran completed her residency in Adult Psychiatry and her fellowship in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Kentucky, Lexington in 2015. Working at Legacy Community Health Services in Houston for the last 3 years, she has become experienced in providing comprehensive mental health services to her patients. She is also extensively trained to treat trauma in children and adults.
