I have a passion for helping others through the power of the therapeutic relationship. My beliefs in the counseling process are strongly rooted in the person-centered approach to build relationships with clients that encourage them to recognize ways to foster healthy relationships outside the counseling room. However, I also believe in the power of learning through different methods which leads me to bring in a variety of activities and techniques to help the growth and development process that meets each client’s needs.

Hailey Petrgalovic

I have over a decade of clinical experience in counseling individuals of all ages, but have concentrated experience and expertise in counseling children and their parents. I have spent the last six years providing mental health services to families in education. Currently, at CCA, I provide non-directive play therapy, individual talk sessions, activity therapy, sandtray therapy, and parent consultations. Check with our staff to see if I am accepting new clients, and if I sound like a good fit for you.

Life is full of challenges and even hurts. We are bombarded with expectations, comparison, loss as well as lack of true connection. We need connection for healing to happen. It is through a non-judgmental and nurturing environment that we feel truly seen and heard. This is when hope can foster change. By creating a safe space where a client feels supported and comfortable, progress can begin. I consider it an honor when a client is open and vulnerable enough to share their story.

In all my educational experience, I have worked with regular education students and special education students. I have been Assistant Principal for grades 6-12 and Principal for grades PreK -6. Currently, I am Principal for grades PreK – 6. I am completing my 30th year in education.
