Nicole Genrich

Nicole Genrich is an LPC-Associate, supervised by Tiffany Schnepel LPC-S
(tiffanyschnepel.lpc@gmail.com). She is entering the mental health counseling field with
innovative and contemporary approaches to therapy, aiming to make it accessible, interactive,
and engaging. She is passionate about facilitating positive change in people’s lives by
establishing meaningful, intentional, and empowering therapeutic connections with her clients.
Nicole tailors individualized treatment plans, recognizing that clients are the architects of their
own mental landscapes.
Drawing from a trauma-informed care approach, Nicole listens, validates, and
comprehends her clients’ experiences, while teaching clients essential skills for maintaining
mental wellness and increasing self-awareness. She specializes in assisting individuals of all
ages—children, adolescents, and adults—addressing a wide array of challenges including
anxiety, depression, insomnia, emotional intelligence, career advancement, organizational skills,
healthy relationship promotion, coping strategies, substance abuse, social skills, mood
regulation, and personal growth.
With experience in psychiatric outpatient hospitals for adolescents and counseling within
public school districts, Nicole employs a comprehensive and holistic treatment approach. She
collaborates closely with children, adolescents, and young adults to alleviate symptoms of
anxiety, depression, and insomnia. Nicole primarily utilizes existential therapy, complemented
by techniques from cognitive, rational-emotive, and dialectical behavior therapies. She believes
this integrated approach fosters a strong, personable, yet professional client-therapist
relationship, empowering clients to find meaning in their lives through activities and hobbies
aligned with their values.
